When working with Diigo, I learned many new skills that I obtained while working. Diigo is basically a social bookmarking website that allows users to bookmark webpage. It is also a powerful research tool that is used by a wide variety of people. In my opinion, this is a good way to develop better reading and research strategies. This application can be useful in my classroom with team members and for my individual professional efforts in many ways. As a whole, it is very useful by having it be a knowledge-sharing community. As an individual, this would be useful because it can keep me organized with all of my information and my students information. I would use powerpoint to support student learning at each level of Blooms Taxonomy for many reasons. It would be useful because the Blooms Taxonomy classifies educational learning objectives into specific levels. It has cognitive affective and sensory domains yet, the cognitive domain list has been more effective and used more for education. It is often used to structure curriculum and learning different objectives being taught. Technology and teacher professional development play an important role together. With the use of teacher professional development that is adapted by teachers can make teaching with technology easier. Today, teachers are tasked with being the driving force of technology innovation in education mainly for this reason. Also, with the large amount of people who use these technologies, it makes it easier to to help teach, with interacts with professional development. With data collection surveys, or excel tools as a teacher for many reasons. As a 6th grade math teacher, by having data collection surveys which gathers information on certain topics. Usually by having information provided on a data collection survey it is easier to comprehend. It is also more organized which allows students to also have a better understanding. Excel is also very useful because it provides many calculations for math problems in each category. Excel is often useful for for a math teacher by looking at numbers provided. I found that there were many interesting topics from reviewing my classmates blogs.
